Twitter Wars 2026

WE ARE AT WAR.

A war to market our events, grow our followings, spread good memes, and create a cultural movement that will outlast us.

The rules

  • +300 points for every tweet.
  • +100 points for every like.
  • +300 points for every retweet.
  • +200 points for every reply.
  • +300 points for every quote tweet.
  • 2Γ— everything if the tweet mentions Fractal, Maximum New York, Vibecamp, Cuties, Community Archive, Psychofauna, Whorehole, The Service Guild, Claude Squad, Casa Tilo, Cascade Camp, Solis, Concrete Kingdom, Vibechella, and ApplyAll. Tagging or quote-tweeting a project's official account counts too.
  • Most points in a day, in your division, wins the day. Win the most days to top your division. (Days run midnight to midnight, New York time.)
  • Any tweet over 1,000 likes earns a ribbon on the Wall of Fame.

Divisions

Once the big accounts are in, a single leaderboard isn't fair β€” they'd outrank everyone on raw numbers. So it's set up like a sports league: you compete in a division with people of a similar size. Your division is set by your follower count the moment you sign up, and it's locked in β€” grow all you want, you stay in the division you entered.

  • 🐣 Rookie β€” under 300 followers
  • πŸš€ Rising β€” 300–599
  • 🎯 Contender β€” 600–1,999
  • πŸ… Pro β€” 2,000–9,999
  • 🌟 All-Star β€” 10,000+

Prizes

  • Category champion β€” top of your division when the war ends (most days won, then points).
  • Most Grown β€” the big cross-division prize: whoever gains the most followers between signup and the final day. We snapshot everyone's follower count at the start and again at the end. Everyone rises.

FAQ

Who can join?

The war is invite-only, capped at 50 players, because I pay for the Twitter API to score this game. The API got a lot cheaper in February, but I still want it to stay affordable to run.

What counts as β€œmentioning” one of these projects?

Loosely β€” on purpose. People refer to our stuff in a hundred different shorthands, and I want all of them to count. Vibecamp gets called VC, vibe camp, fivecamp, hexcamp β€” take your pick. MNY counts towards Maximum New York. FractalU counts towards Fractal. So the rule is simple: if a phrase is one people commonly use to talk about one of our projects, it counts. Tagging or quote-tweeting the official account also counts.

Yes, there's some risk of a false positive β€” someone tweets β€œVC” meaning venture capital. But this is a game among friends, mostly people already in the scene, so I'm defaulting to generosity: if it reads like you're talking about one of ours, you get the boost. Here's the running list of phrases that count:

  • Fractal β€” Fractal and FractalU, plus anything with Fractal in it (Fractal Tech, Fractal Campus, Fractal Accelerator…)
  • Maximum New York β€” Maximum New York, MNY
  • Vibecamp β€” Vibecamp, vibe camp, fivecamp, hexcamp, VC, VC1 / VC2 (and so on)
  • Cuties β€” Cuties
  • Community Archive β€” Community Archive
  • Psychofauna β€” Psychofauna
  • Whorehole β€” Whorehole, WH, WH1 / WH2 / WH3 (and so on)
  • The Service Guild β€” The Service Guild, Service Guild
  • Claude Squad β€” Claude Squad
  • Casa Tilo β€” Casa Tilo
  • Solis β€” Solis
  • Concrete Kingdom β€” Concrete Kingdom
  • Vibechella β€” Vibechella
  • ApplyAll β€” ApplyAll

Missing a phrase people actually use? Tell Priya and we'll add it β€” the list is meant to grow.

How often do scores update? My tweet got more likes but my points didn't move.

Scores refresh every 15 minutes, so a new tweet shows up on the board almost immediately and its points climb as the likes come in. But that live tracking only runs for a tweet's first day. After that its points settle, and a full catch-up pass updates all scores at the end of the month.

Scoring is set up this way based on how the Twitter API works, to keep costs low.
